Description of the Revit license model<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Autodesk Revit<\/strong> is a software for building information modeling (BIM)<\/strong>. Revit combines architecture, engineering and all tasks in construction in a uniform modeling environment and thus enables construction projects to be carried out more efficiently and cost-effectively. If complex building components and structures are to be modeled, analyzed and simulated and extensive planning documents also need to be created, the full version of Revit is the right choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revit LT<\/strong>, on the other hand, was developed as a cost-effective entry-level option for BIM<\/strong>. Nevertheless, Revit LT also contains a comprehensive tool set for 3D building design and the generation of the associated documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revit is only offered as licenses for rent (“Software-as-a-Service” or “SaaS”), whereby you can choose between terms of one and three years. The longer period is somewhat more cost-effective in relation to one year. The renewal of existing licenses is also discounted compared to entering or re-entering the software. As with new purchases, you can choose between one and three years for renewal, regardless of the previous term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
