Description of the Inventor license model

Autodesk Inventor is a comprehensive range of tools for computer-aided design (CAD). Inventor combines several professional tools for mechanical 3D design, documentation and product simulation. With its powerful combination of parametric, direct, free-form and rule-based design functions, the CAD software can make a significant contribution to increasing efficiency.

Inventor is available as rental software (“Software-as-a-Service” or “SaaS”). You can choose between terms of one and three years. The three-year period has a discount compared to the one-year period (based on a three years observation period). The renewal of an existing license is slightly cheaper compared to a new or re-entry. The renewal can be concluded for one year or a three-year period, regardless of the previous term.
